Students

Interactive school programs developed with the Collier County School Board and aligned with the Florida Sunshine State Standards include the 2nd-grade Insect Adventure, 5th-grade Wild Florida Adventure, and 7th-grade Ecosystems and Web of Life programs. These programs include engaging and eye-opening field trips to the Sanctuary, along with companion classroom lessons.  Staff also host other school grades, university classes, Florida Master Naturalist 40-hour certification courses, and the wildly popular, week-long, nature-based summer camps.

Visitors

Guided programs on and off Corkscrew's famous boardwalk and in the remote Sanctuary backcountry are some of the best ways to learn about and experience the flora, fauna, and unique ecosystems of the Western Everglades. 约炮视频 offers a variety of opportunities to experience nature, such as early birding walks, sunset strolls, night tours, bring-your-own-bike tours, and swamp walks.

In the Community

We also head out into the community to deliver engaging programs and informative talks about Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, our work, and the habitats and wildlife we are working to protect. Offsite presentations to schools, clubs, or other groups can be requested and last one to two hours. We also staff educational tables at local community events.

Each program lasts approximately one hour and allows time for questions. We request a $200 honorarium for most off-site presentations.
