Cranes by the tens of thousands and waterfowl by the millions鈥攖his isn鈥檛 just a festival, it鈥檚 a phenomenon! Look out for celebrities: Jane Goodall and Joel Sartore have attended in the past.

Olympic Bird Festival
Sequim, WA; April 10-12
Each year, with the help of local 约炮视频 chapters and the Jamestown S鈥橩lallam tribe, birders take over the northern Olympic Peninsula. There are field trips along the coast and evening hikes into the owl-rich foothills.

Lesser Prairie-Chicken Festival
Woodward, OK; April 15-22
Come for the Lesser Prairie-Chickens, stay for the company. Join the Oklahoma 约炮视频 Council out on the open mesa and drink in the inspiring view. Greater Prairie-Chickens sometimes make an appearance, too.

International Migratory Bird Day
Everywhere; May 9
