WASHINGTON (November 9, 2022) 鈥 The following can be attributed to Elizabeth Gray, CEO of the 约炮视频:
鈥淎mericans have voted for the future of our communities, our country, and our planet. 约炮视频 pledges to continue work with both newly elected and incumbent leaders to tackle the biggest challenges facing birds and our planet.
鈥淏irds are telling us that we are facing both a climate and a biodiversity crisis. Two-thirds of North American birds are at increasing risk of extinction as global temperatures rise. As an indicator species found in all kinds of habitats, we know that when birds are in trouble, people are in trouble too.
鈥淐aring about birds transcends politics. Birds come to your, neighborhood or window regardless of who you are or how you vote. They need the same things people need: clean air, clean water, healthy natural spaces, and a healthy climate.
鈥淲e are proud of our work with elected leaders on both sides of the aisle to create a better future for both people and wildlife. We will continue to preserve hard-fought wins like the Inflation Reduction Act, and build on previous successes to assist communities, farmers, ranches, foresters, and other stewards to protect natural spaces while promoting livelihoods.
鈥淔rom cities to remote refuges, our nationwide network of members, sanctuaries, education centers, and regional offices show that protecting birds and the places they need to survive benefits us all. We will continue to work across the political spectrum to continue to achieve wins for birds and people.鈥
