Vice President, Creative and Editorial

As Vice President of Content, Jennifer Bogo leads the editorial and art teams that distinguish 约炮视频 for its outstanding journalism on birds and conservation and set the high visual standard and branding for the organization writ large. In this role she serves as editor-in-chief of the quarterly 约炮视频 magazine, which under her direction has won multiple National Magazine Awards, including Personal Service for the magazine's innovative and inspiring Climate Action Guide in 2020 and the General Excellence, Special Interest honor in 2021. She also leads the development and growth of editorial brand extensions that introduce diverse new audiences to 约炮视频鈥檚 work and conservation priorities, including the 约炮视频 Photography Awards约炮视频 for Kids!, and the 约炮视频 Mural Project.

Jennifer came full circle to 约炮视频, and to birds, after stints extolling the virtues of robots and space probes as the science editor at Popular Mechanics and executive editor of Popular Science. Stories she edited for those publications have also won a National Magazine Award and been included in the "Best American Science Writing" and "Best American Science and Nature Writing" anthologies. She has made frequent media appearances as a science expert, and she has traveled to research stations from the Arctic to the Antarctic to report feature stories herself. Jennifer serves on the board of the Society of Environmental Journalists, which provides invaluable support and resources to journalists who report on the environment, energy, and intersecting issues across North America and globally.
